I told you about the time 14 year old Gladys showed the 9 year old, Tommy, the box of pornographic comics hidden on the top closet shelf of her parents’ bedroom…but I have to include a few things I forgot…

She would pull out each one and flip through them to favorite pages of hers and say: “Look at THIS!” and there would be Betty Boop sucking cartoon tycoon, or Daisy May fondling a horse, or Dennis the Menace’s mom thinking of cock in a thought bubble, and then we looked at every page of the Dagwood and Blondie comic…it was her favorite for some reason.
